And here I am, beading! I hit my goal to finish the stitching on Mermaids of the Deep Blue and pulled out the beads.
Loving it! I wish you could see the gleam and glitter. And in true stitch from stash fashion, I’m subbing in the gold that I already have, and the big pony beads are also from my stash.

Beautiful! I am just now starting to work with beads, *nervous* I have a Mill Hill kit that I am starting with, then I have a Mirabilia pattern in my stash that I want to start soon.
Those kits are perfect. I bead with the clear Nymo rather than a strand of DMC but it happens fast. All you really need to do is make sure you go thru the big beads twice, in the full cross. That will fix them securely.
