Yay! Yes, if you’re familiar with this pattern you’ll see that I chose not to stitch some portions of the design (like the background) & I’ve converted all the Crescent Colours to DMC, and then changed out the Mill Hill beads. But that is my usual M.O.!
I also only half – stitched the wings, and only in the bottom direction. That’s to give it texture. I was going to stitch the top arm in Kreinik #4 032 for a shiny look but it didn’t look quite right.
This is off to the framer on Thursday. Should be back in time for the MIL’s birthday in June!

Gorgeous!
Thank you!
this reminds me I have some Nora Corbett charts in my stash – really should stitch one of them one day!
It was quick. Including frogging due to colour changes, about three weeks. And I don’t stitch one day of the week at least, sometimes two. So really quick.
ah I have “stargazer” in my stash, which I see you also have. That’s the one I’ll do first, but I’ve currently got a Joan Elliott lady in progress and she hasn’t seen a needle in months.
She was one I rotated. I got sick of the skirt for a while then jumped back in. Love her tho
